Re: Assisted Suicide - Should it be legal?
Well I was talking about hospital assisted suicides. I think it should be legal, so here is my scenario:
Suppose there is a guy paralyzed from the neck down who has been staying at the hospital for years because his lungs are fucked up too. So everyday hes on a tube for air, water, and food.
Suppose this guy is tired of sitting around doing nothing just because of his condition and just wants to let it all go thinking it will be easier.
Of course since hes paralyzed he can't do anything to kill himself on his own, so he will need someone to do it for him, like the doctors.
He could ask the doctors to put him to sleep like they would a dog that way he can die peacefully and be rid of his pain on the world.

Re: Assisted Suicide - Should it be legal?
i agree with nick... but only if a few conditions are met
a) said person has zero chance of recovery
b) said person is incapacitated
c) said person has already lived a full and fulfilling life (this reason is not effective if person can not communicate in any way)
if you are stuck somewhere... that doesn't mean you can't do anything... most hospitals have access to the outside world right? i say you can probably talk to someone... or something :/
